In Kyiv, free guided tours will be held on Constitution Day, where visitors will be able to learn more facts about the history of Ukraines Fundamental Law

Join informative city walks and discover important chapters of Ukrainian state-building — from the early drafts of the Fundamental Law to the adoption of the Constitution of independent Ukraine in 1996.

According to the Kyiv Tourism and Promotion Department (Kyiv City State Administration), seven city tours are planned, including two for children and one adapted for people with hearing impairments. The tours are organized in cooperation with the Kyiv Centre for Tourism Development.

Tour "The Millennium Path of the Constitution", where Kyiv residents and guests of the capital will have the opportunity to hear about the first laws of the Kyivan Rus state, the Zaporizhian Host, and the Ukrainian People's Republic, as well as learn how the Fundamental Law of independent Ukraine was adopted.

Children’s tour "Paths of Ukrainian Law", during which young participants will hear how students wrote legal acts, what was the greatest success of the Central Rada on the international stage, and how a Bible translator developed church reform.

Tour "The Constitution – From Creation to the Present", during which one can become acquainted with the Fundamental Law of Ukraine from the time of its first drafting in the early 18th century to the moment of the adoption of the Constitution of independent Ukraine in 1996.

The tours are designed under martial law conditions, so in the event of an air raid alert, all participants will be able to proceed to nearby shelters.
