The Tourism and Promotion Department of the Kyiv City State Administration has prepared a selection of festive events for Ivana Kupala holiday in Kyiv. The atmosphere of ancient rituals, Kupala songs, and unforgettable emotions – all this awaits Kyiv residents and visitors from June 20 to 24.
• Family Day on Ivana Kupala at GORODOK Gallery Mall
A charity event supporting wounded defenders: the program includes workshops for children and adults, an animation program with Mavka and Lukash, a bubble show, a fair, activities, traditional circle dances, and a performance by a famous Ukrainian singer.

• Kupaila at the National Museum of Folk Architecture and Life of Ukraine
At the open-air museum, you can immerse yourself in the Kupala atmosphere with folklore group performances, participate in traditional rituals, weave wreaths, and dance around Ivan and Marena – all this accompanied by Kupala songs and captivating ritual acts.

• Ethno Festival by V’YAVA and Kultura ETNO
The program includes ethno music performances, wreath weaving and pottery workshops, a fair with authentic goods, thematic lectures, Kupala games, round dances, decoration of the Kupala tree, and much more. The venue offers a restaurant, sports ground, lounge zones, food court, and hammock area.

• Traditional Ivana Kupala Celebration at Feofaniya Park
Expect folklore group performances, a thematic animation program for kids, workshops, traditional festive acts, launching of wreaths on water, lighting of the Kupala fire, ritual performances, and a contest for the best Ukrainian outfit.

• Kupala Weekend on Khreshchatyk at the Sens Bookstore

• International Ethno Festival "Kraina Mriy" at the M.M. Hryshko National Botanical Garden
The festival will feature concert performances by Ukrainian and foreign bands, the best Ukrainian kobzars, bandura players, and lirnyks. The program will include an interactive ethnic playground for children, a fair-workshop, food court, Kupala rituals, literary stage, book fair, and much more.
