Kyiv has entered sakura and magnolia blooming season

The capital city has entered the blooming season for sakura and magnolia trees. Residents and visitors of the city will soon be able to enjoy the beauty of the flowering trees throughout the capital.

The first blooms have appeared in the Dniprovskyi, Desnianskyi, and Obolonskyi districts.


If the weather is favorable, decorative trees will bloom throughout the capital. The flowering period for sakura and magnolia trees will last approximately two weeks.

The A.V. Fomin Botanical Garden and the M.M. Hryshko National Botanical Garden traditionally welcome visitors to enjoy this springtime event.
